Ashley Young has been handed a new deal by Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.

The Sun says the veteran has been handed a bumper new £6million contract by United.

The 32-year-old's deal was due to expire at the end of the season.

However, following his resurgence under Jose Mourinho this season, the club have taken up their option to extend his £130,000-a-week contract by another year.

Young has started ten matches under the Portuguese chief this term and his form won him an England recall earlier this month.
