Ashley Fletcher provided the heroics as the Manchester United-21 side sealed their place in the Lancashire Senior Cup with a narrow victory over Rochdale.

United grabbed their place in the Lancashire Senior Cup quarter finals with a 3-2 victory over Rochdale and the star on the day for the Red Devils was striker Fletcher.

Fletcher scored a wonderful hat-trick, with a penalty proving to be the winner.

United look well on course to claiming victory in the competition.
