Ashley Barnes has penned a new deal with Burnley.

Barnes has signed a new three-year deal with newly promoted Burnley, keeping him at Turf Moor until 2019.

The striker missed much of the Clarets title-winning Championship season after suffering a cruciate ligament injury, but made eight appearances in the latter half of the campaign to help Burnley back to the Premier League.

He said, "The gaffer and what he's done for this club has been brilliant. It was an easy decision to sign a deal."
