Portsmouth goalkeeper James Ashdown admits he's unsure of his future at Fratton Park.

Ashdown told The News: "The only way you can really learn is by playing. It's great watching players like Jamo but if you are not playing it is very, very difficult.

"I'm happy, yes, but in terms of playing I'm not happy. I wouldn't wish injury on Jamo and I don't want to be playing just because of that. I want to be playing because of merit.

"I've got a contract and I'll honour that until the boss wants to say goodbye."
