Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta says he didn't arrive to replace Cesc Fabregas.

Arteta joined the Gunners from Everton just days after Cesc left for Barcelona.

But he told AS: "I'm not here to replace Cesc. If I suggested that, I will go wrong. I have been three weeks here and he spent seven years. I have a personality that is probably different from his.

"I am mad if I am going to try to be equal to or better than him. I must find my way, my style."
