Mikel Arteta was delighted making a winning Arsenal debut against Swansea City.
Arteta slotted seamlessly into Arsenal's midfield, pulling the strings alongside Aaron Ramsey and Emmanuel Frimpong on his first appearance at Emirates Stadium since moving from Everton.
"I've been waiting all week to get the opportunity to play in this stadium for this Club and I really enjoyed it," he told Arsenal Player.
"The fans have been really good since the day I signed for Arsenal, they have really welcomed me and I really appreciate it.
"We got the three points and played some good football. We had a spell for the first 15 minutes where we could have scored two or three and it could have been a different game.
"But, to their credit, Swansea played good football and it was difficult. We are really happy with the three points."
