Mikel Arteta has told Arsenal fans there's much more to come from him after scoring in victory over West Bromwich Albion.

Arteta laughed when asked if Arsenal are now seeing the best of him after his £10million move from Everton on deadline day. The midfielder clearly believes there is more to come.

He said: "We've been working on being a bit more solid but I like to get forward, get freedom and I like to score goals. I want to participate more on the attacking side so I did that and I'm pleased with that.

"I've not had a lot of time to settle. We've been under a lot of pressure to win games and we've needed results

"Was that the best of me today? I hope not! I've only been here two months. There are a lot of things to learn, a lot of things to improve and hopefully I can do that."
