Arsenal have confirmed that they will release trio Andrey Arshavin, Denilson and Sebastien Squillaci this summer.
Russian forward Arshavin has fallen right down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium, whilst French defender Squillaci was hardly used last season and Brazilian midfielder Denilson has spent the past two seasons on loan with Sao Paulo.
"Andrey Arshavin, Denilson and Sebastien Squillaci will leave the club when they come to the end of their contracts on June 30, and Arsenal would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their contribution and wish them well for the future," read a club statement.
32-year old Arshavin leaves the club having made 144 appearances and scoring 31 goals, 32-year old Squillaci played 39 times in total but only featured in seven matches in the past two seasons and 25-year old Denilson featured close to 140 times for the Gunners.
