Andrey Arshavin has cast doubt on his future at Arsenal after taking a swipe at manager Arsene Wenger. Arshavin was not in Wenger's starting line-up in the Champions League defeat by Barcelona in the Nou Camp, when 10-man Arsenal failed to register a single shot on goal and said:
"I do not know why I wasn't in the starting line-up for the match in Barcelona, you should ask the manager about it," he told the Daily Express.
"From my point of view only one team was playing football at the Nou Camp - and it was Barca."
And Arshavin was so upset with Arsenal's Carling Cup final defeat by Birmingham he did not bother to collect his losers' medal.
"I was substituted in the second half so after the game was over, I went straight to the dressing room, oblivious to ceremonies," he said.
