Arshavin: Arsenal must work through form slump

Arsenal midfielder Andrey Arshavin has urged teammates to get their head down and work through their form slump.

Arshavin concedes that Arsenal have not enjoyed the best of starts to the campaign, but admits he is not one to dwell on the past.

"To be honest I would like to avoid talking about history like the Manchester United game, but it happens," he told arsenal.com. "All we can do now is just go forward.

"It's important we took our first three points. Now we can move up and look forward to the next game."

Speaking about his winner against Swansea City, the diminutive play-maker admitted he knew little about the build-up.

"To be honest I didn't see what happened," Arshavin said. "When I turned around I saw the ball in front of me - I just had to hit it properly.

"I did well, and the ball ended up in the net."
