Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere insists he doesn't envy the success enjoyed by his former teammates.
Wilshere insists that he is not jealous of his old Arsenal team-mates at Manchester City and Manchester United.
Wilshere has seen Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy quit Arsenal to win the title with City, while Arsene Wenger has admitted that Robin van Persie's goals have fired United to the top of the table.
But, having signed a new long-term contract at Arsenal, 21-year-old Wilshere claims he is not envious.
"No, I don't think there's any jealousy," said Wilshere, who has previously promised he will never quit Arsenal.
"Maybe there's jealousy that those two teams are currently at the top. But I don't think they're that far ahead of us.
"Quality-wise, I think that I heard Vincent Kompany say the best team he played this season was Arsenal.
"I'm not jealous of them. I know we've got the quality to get up there - we just have to be more professional, learn to see out games, and take our chances."
