Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly considering a bid for highly rated Turkish striker Mevlut Erding. The 21-year-old has been at Sochaux for the last five years, and his contract ends in June of next year, so the French outfit will open to offers in January.

The France-born Turkish international has scored 17 goals in 51 league appearances for Sochaux since his promotion to the first team from the youth team in 2003.
