Arsenal winger Theo Walcott will be back for their Champions League clash with Standard Liege.

The Mirror says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is hoping to have fit-again Walcott in the squad for Saturday's trip to Manchester City, but he may only be ready for the bench.

However, Wenger is hopeful that Walcott will be ready for next week's trip to Standard Liege in Arsenal's first Champions League Group match.

Walcott, 20, has yet to start for Arsenal this season after being troubled by a back injury.
