Arsenal ace Robin van Persie was cheering on Celtic during their Co-operative Insurance Cup final victory over Rangers on Sunday. Hoops defender Glenn Loovens told the Scottish Sun: "I got a message from Robin after the game on Sunday. I played with him from the age of 12 at Feyenoord. We went into the Feyenoord first team at the same time and won the UEFA Cup together.
"I've known Robin a long time and still go to London to see him.
"We saw more of each other when I was at Cardiff and just two hours from London.
"But I will certainly send him a text message if Holland beat Scotland next weekend.
"Mind you, I'll be sending all the Scotland boys a text first after all the stick I've taken."
