Arsenal's Van Persie tops Barcelona shopping list

Barcelona are interested in Arsenal striker Robin van Persie.

Sport says the Dutch ace has jumped to the top of Barca's shortlist of transfer targets in the closing weeks of the summer market.

Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Andrei Arshavin and Boca Juniors striker Rodrigo Palacio are also under consideration, but it's Van Persie that management see as the ideal attacking signing for coach Pep Guardiola's team.
