Arsenal striker Robin van Persie was pleased with his comeback game in last night's 2-1 defeat of Steaua Bucharest.

"I am very pleased. It has been too long, two months I think," Van Persie told Sky Sports 2. "I was unlucky when it happened but I am back now and I want to thank the medical staff. They showed me great ambition to make me fit."
