West Brom's on-loan Arsenal striker Jay Simpson was delighted with his goal in their FA Cup victory over Peterborough.
"Tuesday's goal is up there with the goals I've scored," he told WBA's website. "It was important to get my first goal.
"There are a lot of games coming up so I will hopefully get more opportunities.
"But it was important to me personally to actually get my first goal in Albion colours."
Simpson added: "If we can get a few back-to-back results we have to be confident that we can climb out of trouble.
"We have to look at each game as vital.
"I went through a relegation battle last year on loan with Millwall in League One but this year it's at a higher level and I'm up for the challenge.
"I hope it will toughen me up.
"I want to test myself against the best.
"Being at the bottom is very difficult but if I can get through that and help keep Albion up then it will do me the world of good."
