Arsenal's Rosicky: I just want to stay fit

Tomas Rosicky is determined to show Arsenal fans his best form this season.

The Czech Republic international was only able to show glimpses of his natural ability last season following a £7million move from Borussia Dortmund because of a series of injuries and illness.

Rosicky, 26, found some consistent form towards the end of the campaign, only to then again be forced back on the sidelines in May.

However, now fighting fit, the midfielder believes he can have a real impact on the side.

"I just want to stay healthy," said Rosicky.

"I feel that if I can stay injury free, then I can be an important player for Arsenal.

"Last season, whenever I felt great, I got injured which was difficult for me.

"Now I feel okay again and we know that we have to score from midfield more."
