Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has shrugged off the noises coming from Real Madrid about his sale. Many former Real teammates have lamented Ozil's departure since his shock sale in August.

"I see it as a compliment that many people find it a shame that I left. I have three years of good statistics earned at Real," he said.

"Perhaps another midfielder can do that, but I doubt for the same price."
