Arsenal midfielder Fran Merida refuses to be downhearted, despite failing to establish himself on-loan at Real Sociedad.

The teenager said: "I am very proud to be living with this unique experience at 18 years of age and I do not regret having come, because I am very happy here, both with the club and with colleagues who have lots of quality.

"What one wants is to play, but now the team is playing very well and I must wait for my opportunity."
