Arsenal's Lehmann scrambling for exit

Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann is frantically trying to find a new club.

The Times says the Germany international sounded out several clubs on returning home for treatment on an Achilles problem last weekend, but has yet to receive an offer after falling out of favour at the Emirates Stadium.

The 37-year-old was fit enough to play for Germany in last Wednesday's 2-1 win over England at Wembley and he exchanged strong words with Wenger at Arsenal's training ground when told of his fate two days later.

Lehmann fears that being dropped by Arsenal could harm his international chances before next summer's European Championship finals and will listen to any offers he receives in the coming days.
