Brighton have extended Gavin Hoyte's loan deal from Arsenal until the new year, with the defender having impressed new Seagulls boss Gus Poyet. The 19-year-old full-back has made six appearances for the south coast club following his arrival in October.
Brighton boss Poyet told the club's official website: "It will give us the time to see him properly. I think he will help us. He's young, he's happy here.
"This is a confident step in his career. He's come here and he's got stronger. I know he's willing to learn, and I know he can help us."
