Arsenal captain William Gallas has taken a sly dig at former club Chelsea.

"When I was on the bench or in the stands I was really, really surprised at how we played," Gallas said. "I was so happy for them when they won. I think I was like a fan - when they had an occasion to score and they didn't I stood up and would shout. I was like a kid.

"We're playing better football than any other team I've been involved with. It's different to Chelsea, it's not the same style.

"I don't remember sitting in the stand when I was at Chelsea. I don't think so. I think I jumped when we played Barcelona and I was injured. That was the only time I was in the stand. Arsenal play with their style and Chelsea play with their style, the important thing is to win."
