Mathieu Flamini says Arsenal's distraught players want to win the title for injured teammate Eduardo da Silva.

The Gunners, under single-minded manager Arsene Wenger, were already pretty focused on the title race.

But the horrific sight of their pal's snapped left leg will concentrate the minds even more.

Flamini admitted: "We wanted to win the title before but now we want to win it for Eduardo."

The Frenchman added: "I went over to see him and it was really bad. I have no words to describe what I saw.

"It's the worst injury I have seen. He is a friend and it upsets you.

"I didn't see the tackle but I could see it was bad because I saw the result."
