Arsenal's fit-again winger Theo Walcott says England can wait.

England assistant manager Franco Baldini was at the Emirates on Sunday, and would have been impressed with the youngster's cameo against Burnley - which was almost marked with a goal.

Walcott, though, maintained: "I am not going to look too far ahead - I want to concentrate on Roma and try and get back in the [Arsenal] starting line up.

"Mr Capello picks the [England] team and if I have not had enough football, I might not be in there.

"I am just going to work hard and see what happens."

He added: "I am going to try and give something back to the team and try and push for those Champions League spots.

"As soon as we have got these players back, hopefully we will be flying and we will see where we are at the end of the season.

"But if we play football like we did on Sunday, then we can beat anyone."
