Arsenal's Eduardo to make international comeback for Croatia

Arsenal striker Eduardo will make his return to top-level football for Croatia on Wednesday. The Brazilian-born player has recently played in the Gunners reserve side but has not made an appearance for the first team since he suffered the horrific injury.

However, Croatia manager Slaven Bilic is adamant Eduardo is back to full fitness ahead of their friendly with Romania.

"The main thing, even regarding the national team is that he's fit, he's healthy, he's got no problems, he's (been) training for three weeks now," Bilic told Sky Sports News.

"He played a couple of games for the reserves. I was with Mr Wenger in that training camp last week when they played West Ham and he's alright.

"I think he's going to play for, I don't know, half an hour, more or less. It's great to have him back."
