Arsenal striker Eduardo believes the goals will start to flow after opening his Premier League account with a brace at Everton.

While the Brazilian-born Croatia international had found the back of the net in European and Cup competition, he had gone nine league outings without scoring.

The former Dynamo Zagreb ace is delighted to have the monkey off his back and is now looking to maintain his fine form in front of goal.

"It was really important to score my first goals in the Premier League," said Eduardo.

"It meant a lot and now I think everything will get better and come more easily - there will be more to follow.

"Once a chance comes to you then all there is to do is to be calm and focus on scoring - it sounds simple, but that is all."

After a relatively slow start to life in England, the 24-year-old believes he is slowly but surely adapting to the demands of the Premier League.

He continued: "I know how Arsenal works - bringing players in and giving them time to blend into their surroundings.

"I feel stronger now, I feel better and more comfortable playing here.

"It is a very demanding league, the most demanding in the world, but I am okay, I understand that it takes different players different amounts of time to adapt, but I do feel I'm getting there."
