Arsenal midfielder Denilson hopes Lucas stays with him at Sao Paulo. Denilson has extended his loan at Sao Paulo and has told Lucas to resist a move to Manchester United.

"Lucas won things here playing for Sao Paulo and still has a lot to show, including winning more titles," said Denilson. "Or he can make a living out there, have a quiet life playing for a big club like Manchester United.

"I wish all the luck to Lucas, whether he leaves or stays. But I hope that he stays to help us."
