Denilson is backing Emmanuel Adebayor to be Arsenal's matchwinner tonight against Champions League opponents Manchester United.

Five of Adebayor's goals this season have come in Europe - including a scissor-kick cracker against Villarreal in the last round.

Brazilian Denilson said: "I am really convinced Adebayor is the key player for this match and the rest of us shall do what we can to help him. Manu is very focused on the match and this is very positive for Arsenal.

"It will be very different to Old Trafford because this time we need to win so there is bound to be plenty of emotion. The key will be our passing game. We must create as many chances as possible. We are a team full of goals and this is our chance.

"United needed many chances to score just one goal against us. But they are dangerous and we need to stop them invading our penalty area.

"This game will be full of tension but we are ready for anything."
