Gael Clichy has dismissed Manchester City's link for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

"I've always said a club can play without their best player but Arsenal cannot play without Arsene Wenger," enthused the full back to Setanta Sports News.

"Manchester City are talking about a lot of managers, players and goalkeepers over the last months so I'm not worried about that.

"I'm sure he won't be going to Man City. It's good that players and the boss are wanted by other clubs and it means there's quality there and we can do it here if we really want to."
