Arsenal's Cesc watching Barcelona, Real Madrid developments from New York

Barcelona are expected to bid for Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.

The Daily Mail says Cesc flew to New York for a holiday on Wednesday from Barcelona's El Prat airport and will await news over a deal.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta said: "Fabregas is not ruled out as an alternative to Ribery."

Fabregas will not try to force his exit, but if Barca offer enough he is ready to return to the club where he started his career.

Real Madrid are also interested and a bid of around £40million could do the trick.
