Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has hit out at the three-match ban Birmingham City defender Martin Taylor received for his tackle on Eduardo da Silva.

"How can a professional player do that type of tackle," said Fabregas. "Of course I blame him. He did it and he knows why he did it.

"I don't know how a player gets injured and is out for a year and the player who does it gets suspended for three games. It's very unfair."
