Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has praised fellow Spaniard Fernando Torres for his success with Liverpool this season.

Ahead of their Champions League tie, Cesc said: "When a player arrives in England there are always doubts about whether he can adapt, but he is performing to an incredible level.

"This style of football fits him like a glove. He is strong, quick, powerful, he can finish and, above all, he knows how to create space for himself, which is fundamental here.

"We will be rivals during these three games but we are good friends. In the Spain squad there have been a few jokes. Torres says that he is going to score against us, but I prefer to keep quiet and do my talking on the pitch."
