Bottom of the Premier League Tottenham have received an unlikely sympathy vote from their bitter North London rivals, Arsenal. Gunners striker Emmanuel Adebayor admits to feeling sorry for them.

"I think every player feels sorry for them," Adebayor told talkSPORT Magazine.

"They have a strong team, good players and I'm sure that in a few months they'll be back winning games.

"At the moment they lack confidence and when you lack confidence it's always difficult to win games. But at the moment Tottenham are really bad."
