Manu Adebayor was delighted to grab his first hat-trick for Arsenal in Saturday's defeat of Derby.
He said: "I am very happy to be part of Emirates history with the first hat-trick here. We knew it would be difficult when Thierry left so we had to give more concentration. And we're doing it very well.
"We're winning every game and scoring amazing goals. Last season it was not the same. When you got the ball you didn't know what to do with it. This time everyone is having a go.
"Cesc Fabregas is scoring the same goal from outside the box in every game. Whether it's me, Eduardo, Van Persie, everyone is scoring.
"I hope Robin and me are like Thierry and Dennis. We have a good understanding and Robin is an amazing player.
"The big difference this season is that we are scoring the first goal. Last season we had to keep fighting back from behind.
"But the first goal is like a deliverance for us. It allows us to keep the ball and play."
