Bukayo Saka and Arthur Okonkwo have won new contracts with Arsenal.

The pair have starred for the club's Under-18 side and have this term broken into the Under-23s.

Okonkwo, a 6ft 5in goalkeeper, is an England Under-18 international who has already trained with the first team at the club's London Colney base.

Saka, who only turned 17 last week, only signed scholarship terms in the summer but the club have moved swiftly to to tie him down after making a considerable impresssion.

Arsenal Academy Manager, Per Mertesacker said, “Bukayo and Arthur are talented players, who have both excelled through our Hale End Academy.

"We are delighted that they have signed their first professional contracts with us and we look forward to supporting them further through their development."
