Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey expects to make a playing return in November.
The Welsh midfielder suffered a broken leg in a sickening tackle by Stoke City's Ryan Shawcross back in February.
It was initially feared Ramsey, 19, would be sidelined for a year after his breakthrough season was wrecked by the horror challenge.
But Wales caretaker boss Brian Flynn says Ramsey's long road to recovery is almost complete.
Flynn said: "I've spoken with Aarron and he's making great progress. He told me he will be back in full training in three weeks.
"He's a great talent and we all want him back playing again. It's great news for Arsenal, Wales and of course for Aaron himself."
