Young Arsenal defender Havard Nordtveit has ambitions to play in the Bundesliga. The 19-year-old is currently on loan with Norwegian outfit Lillestrom bolstering his first-team experience.
"German football would of course be a tremendous challenge for me," he told Dagbladet.
"But I am enjoying myself at LSK. I know that Arsenal will make the right decision which is best for me and my career."
The youngster is due to stay with Lillestrom until August 1, although head coach Henning Berg is keen to extend this for the remainder of the Norwegian season.
"We are in close contact with Arsenal and we all want the best possible solution for Haavard," said the former Manchester United defender.
"We know that Arsenal are pleased how Havard's development has been whilst he has been here."
