Arsenal youngster Kieran Gibbs admits he can't quite believe his progress this year.

The young left-back played in Arsenal's Champions League victory over Villarreal this week and will line up at Wembley in the FA Cup semifinal against Chelsea.

Gibbs told setanta.com: "It has been a dream. I love the club and it has been a great experience for me and I'm looking forward to what is to come.

"It was a brilliant moment [against Villarreal], Obviously it is a dream to play in one of the best competitions in the world and I enjoyed it.

"I thought the team did really well. We were all fired up. Everyone was well up for it and I think we showed that in our performance.

"The way we passed it, the way we went forward... we could easily have sat back and let them bring the game to us but we took it to them again and got a great result."
