Arsenal haven't pulled the plug on a move for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.
The Daily Star says their move for Khedira, who is demanding £150,000-a-week, has stalled with the Germany World Cup unwilling to take a pay cut to join the club.
Wenger had been hoping to convince Khedira to take a slight drop in wages, but his inability to agree terms with 27-year-old could allow Chelsea to swoop.
