Arsenal without Sagna, Podolski, Gibbs for Swansea trip

Bacary Sagna and Lukas Podolski are set to miss Arsenal's trip to Swansea City this weekend.

The French right-back and German striker were both absent for the Champions League Round of 16 second leg against Bayern Munich on Wednesday but will again miss because of knee and ankle problems respectively.

Midfielder Jack Wilshere remains sidelined with a bruised bone in his foot whilst left-back Kieran Gibbs could also miss because of thigh injury but will be replaced by Champions League-tied Nacho Monreal.

"Sagna and Podolski will not be back," Gunners boss Arsene Wenger told the club's official website.

"And Wilshere, as we know, is out as well. So the only one who will come back is (Nacho) Monreal because he was not qualified for the Champions League."

He added: "I think he (Gibbs) will be out on Saturday. He had a little reaction on his thigh. He is not injured but we have to be cautious with it. He might be out."
