Arsenal winger Theo Walcott is back in the England squad.
The Daily Mail says Walcott, 20, was told he is in Fabio Capello's provisional squad yesterday and has a good chance of making the cut on the right wing, with Tottenham's Aaron Lennon missing the friendly against Egypt on Wednesday through injury.
Stewart Downing, who won his last England cap almost a year ago, will compete with Aston Villa teammates James Milner and Ashley Young for a place on the left.
Sunderland's Darren Bent was also notified and will hope for a chance after disappointing against Brazil in November.
Capello's final squad will be named tomorrow night.
