Arsenal winger Theo Walcott is turning to the freezer to shake off his latest injury setback.
The Daily Mail says Walcott is using a revolutionary deep-freeze treatment to help his recovery from the ankle ligament damage he suffered during the Euro 2012 qualifying win in Switzerland.
Walcott has been using the Cryotherapy system at Champneys Spa, near Tring, which involves going into a sealed ice chamber where the temperature is minus 110 Centigrade.
The extreme cold can only be endured for a maximum of three minutes - anything over eight would be fatal - and is reckoned to aid the healing process far quicker than more traditional methods.
