Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has revealed he spoke to Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross about Aaron Ramsey's injury during the England get-together this week.

Shawcross' tackle on Ramsey left the midfielder with a broken leg.

"He's apologised," said Walcott. "He's a very humble lad and obviously he knows what's happened and feels very bad. There are no hard feelings. He's not a player to do those sorts of tackles."
