Arsenal winger Theo Walcott says he's feeling as fit as ever.

Walcott was impressive in Arsenal's victory over Sunderland on Saturday.

"I feel fit as anything I've felt," he told arsenal.com. "I feel really good now so hopefully I can stay fit and look after myself. I've had such a stop-start season, I've lost so many games I've lost count.

"But I should feel fresh, I felt fresh against Sunderland and the Stoke game isn't until next weekend, so there's plenty of time to recover and start again from there. It will be a difficult game but I do feel fresh.

"When you come back from injury you don't want to put too much pressure on yourself saying you want to play 100 per cent or it won't go your way," he said.

"I've experienced that this year. The boss has spoken to me and he's the best man to listen to I think, especially here. So I listen to him and he says just relax and enjoy it and it will just come."
