Arsenal winger Walcott admits England happier away from Wembley

Arsenal winger Theo Walcott admits England play better away from home.

Yet England's next few friendlies - starting with Spain on November 12 - will be at Wembley. Holland is also scheduled for February.

He said: "When we play away, a lot of teams have got to come at us so it gives so much more space for the likes of me, Ashley (Young) and Stewie (Downing).

"It makes our job so much easier but, with our pace and the young, experienced players we've got now, it is a good balance."
