Arsenal winger Gnabry eager to see FA Cup action against Liverpool

Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry is hoping to see FA Cup action against Liverpool.

Gnabry watched Saturday's 5-1 defeat to Liverpool from the sidelines and is itching to be given an opportunity to put things right when the Reds visit Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

"We have to fight, that's football," Gnabry told the official Arsenal matchday programme. "I'm eager to get back in the team and I'm trying my best in training. I'm hoping to catch the manager's eye and hoping to get back in the starting XI.

"The FA Cup is a great opportunity for young players. I really enjoy playing in the competition and I hope we make it to the final.

"We've got a chance but in a cup it's important to win every game that comes, no matter who you¹re drawn against, and it doesn't matter who is still in the cup because in the end you have to play the best teams.

"I think it's going to be a great game for sure and we just want to make it to the next round."
