Arsenal are hoping to set up a swap deal for Fulham defender Brede Hangeland.
The People says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is ready to finalise an £11million deal for Norway centre-half Hangeland, with Carlos Vela possibly moving on loan for a season as part of the deal.
Manchester City are also keeping tabs on Hangeland's situation.
