Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to cash in on Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Daily Star says Wenger blocked the move when Barca tried to sign Adebayor last summer.

But after an indifferent season from Adebayor, the Arsenal manager could be ready to cut his losses and seek a replacement signing.

Barca coach Pep Guardiola has been a long-time admirer of Adebayor and, with Samuel Eto'o and former Arsenal legend Thierry Henry possibly moving on this summer, he will need a new striker.
