Arsenal are lining up a bargain basement deal for Lille attacker Salomon Kalou.
The Daily Star says the Gunners are weighing up a £2.5m bid Kalou as a cut-price alternative if they fail to land Schalke wonderkid Julian Draxler.
Champions League winner Kalou has let it be known he is keen on a return to London.
Ex-Chelsea star Kalou, 28, has a buy-out fee in his Lille contract of just £2.5m.
